It’s quite common and we habitually do this as a safeguard to prevent embarrassment in front of others who may be just as quick to spot the flaws. But your idea is young and although seemingly foolish, it has potential to flourish. So kill you internal censor and keep exploring. No-one else needs to know how silly it may sound.
